Dark Navy Hand painted Xbody Bag

This bag was part of a collection that was made from a well loved family sofa that had been in their family for 15 years. It had shared the family’s ups, downs, highs and lows and had the life marks to prove it.

The owners actually had the first bag from the collection but we made sure Claire had one to do her incredible art work on.

This is approx 2 weeks work and the paint which has the substance of ink is layered and the layers built up over time –  the detail that Claire has applied to this bag is incredible  – use the zoom and go in and inspect the attention to detail and you’ll see just how talented she actually is.

The bag itself has an adjustable strap, the bag is lined and interlined with an internal zipped pocket and the closure is a magnetic clasp

This Totebag was given to Claire to hand paint with a design of her choosing.

The paints ( Angelus ) used are more like inks and after some thorough research these proved to be the preferred choice. They are layered and each layer has to dry before the next one can be applied.

Everything is limed and interlined and they all have an internal zipped pocket to secure your valuables.

This is the only one and we are very clear that each one is individual and unique.
